The Island
Arriving in Male International Airport in the capital of the Maldives, you will be met by one of our GTFlyfishing crew whom will accompany you to the speed ferry from where there will be a 2 hours trip to the Island. After arriving at your local guest house you will receive a cool drink and a snack followed up by a key for your room with private toilet and bath, aircondition and Wi-Fi.
As you get settled, we will give you a briefing on what your mission will be the next 8 days, followed up by a tackle and tactics talk. The rest of the afternoon you will be busy getting your gear ready for the next morning.If you find yourself in need of some tackle, gear, apparel or the likes, our tackle shop will be happy to serve you.
In the evening we all have dinner and hit the sack. This is unique but true. You can also choose to go back to the island and have lunch and just fish 5-6 hours a day. This is all up to the group.
Itinerary
The next 8 days we get up early just before sun rise, have some breakfast, gear up, go to the boats and off we go. We have the lovely opportunity to fish all day with only one lunch break till sunset at five. Everyday our guide crew will do their very best to get you the best chances of landing some big fish and service you in any way possible. The diving and snorkling here is pristine as well, and a great way to relax if needed. On day nine, we will fish for some hours on our way to the airport, where we will say goodbye and wish you a safe journey home.

8-Day Island Trip Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrival at Malé International Airport, transfer via speed ferry to the island.
Welcome drink, snack, and briefing on the 8-day adventure ahead.
Settle in, prepare fishing gear, and enjoy a group dinner. -
Days 2-8:
Early morning breakfast, gear up, and head out for a full day of fishing.
Fish in prime spots from sunrise to sunset, with a midday lunch break.
Option for snorkeling and exploring local marine life.
Return to the guesthouse for a relaxing evening and dinner. -
Day 9:
Morning fishing session on the way back to the airport.
Farewell and transfer to Malé International Airport for departure.
